Title: Introduction
Post by: ldsblank on May 25, 2012, 06:38:30 PM
Hi,

I've just become member, because I'm interested in a no frills databasesystem and want to study/play with SQLite based databases. I'm a hobby programmer, using script-languages like Perl, sometimes Basic and C, want to learn Delphi.
I think SQLitening is promising because I can use SQLite-db's  in both client/server mode as in direct embedded mode (using other libraries).

You can use SQLitening also in local, none Client/Server mode. It is just one line of code that makes the difference. With slConnect you connect to a SQLitening Server, without it you work in local mode.
