Hi everyone,

I recently retired and as part of this new life transition, I will be closing the SQLitening forums and pulling back from programming in general after a brief transitional period as outlined below:

April 14 to April 30, 2024: No changes.

May 1, 2024: The forum will become read only disallowing new posts and no new member registrations.

May 31, 2024: The forum will be removed.

Additionally, I will not be answering programming questions via email.

If there is anything on this forum that you would like to archive for your own purposes then it is imperative that you do so before May 31, 2024.

Thanks,
Paul Squires

I haven't used SQLitening in 10 years but maybe something like the following would work:

slExe "DETACH DATABASE '" + database_name + "';"

Try downloading it now. The attachment was missing/corrupted so I just re-uploaded it again and attached it to the original post.

Do you get email notifications?
No I did not, but I also do not have the "Alerts or Emails" enabled for myself for this Board.

That's weird. I went into the forum admin settings and merely viewed and saved the Boards. It must have reset something that was screwing up your permissions.... I don't know why it worked, but happy that maybe it was what fixed it.

Nothing has changed with the forum. All of the Boards are there. I haven't edited any Boards in several years. Maybe try logging out of the forum and back in again?

Create table #61 and put your table descriptions there. Two fields... table name, table description.

I have added a redirect from http://sqlitening.planetsquires.com/support/index.php that seems to work.
#12
Thanks Bern, I will do that. I did try to do the redirect but it resulted in an endless loop due to the fact that the forum is in a subdomain on the main PlanetSquires site. I will try a few more options......
