Thanks guys, I will start processing the updates tomorrow and post the new package here for your review. I will exclude cj's suggested new code until you guys feel more comfortable with including it.
Thanks Bern

Yes, please everyone take a look at your codebases to see what needs to be added, changed, etc. I will consolidate all changes and upload a new package. It has been a very long time since an updated package was made available.
Having said that, I wonder if 32 bit programs can be installed as a Windows Service on 64 bit Windows.

I don't think so. From the help file it says:

SQLitening is a programmer's library in standard Win32 DLL form. It is installed as a standard Windows Service...

Hope this helps.

The DLL is 32-bit. Therefore the calling program needs to be 32 bit as well. However, as we all know, 32-bit programs can be run easily on 64 bit operating systems.

Therefore, the only limitation is that you can not create 64-bit applications using the 32-bit sqlitening and sqlite dll's.
SQLitening is a Windows app. I doubt that you can get it to work on Android via emulation.
Do you have full administrator rights for the computer that SQLitening is being installed on??? SQLitening server installs as a service and you would need admin rights to do that.
...and this library looks really good but I haven't created any headers for it:  http://www.libxl.com/
(edit) I didn't realize this library was $199.
If you are using PowerBASIC then maybe my xmlExcel code may help you. It creates an Excel workbook using the XML Spreadsheet specification.

There is talk that a "representative" for PowerBASIC will post some information in the coming days. Will that happen? Who knows. We've been waiting for 14 months for something to happen and there has been virtually nothing. I wouldn't hold my breath.

I (Paul Squires) host this forum. The hosting and domain are under my control. I have no plans of closing it down. Of course, if there are any SQLitening gurus here that want to take over ownership of the domain, forum and all post and source codes, then simply pop me an email and we can discuss. I would only transfer this stuff to someone I know and can trust.
Hey Joe, great to see you around here again buddy!
SQLitening is written in PowerBASIC Version 10 and that language is currently 32-bit only.
