Hello,

I usual use the RowID as my Serial Number when displaying my records on a Listview. I noticed that whenever a record is deleted a gap is created in the serial numbering. E.g. Lets say I have: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and I delete record No 3.
The numbering display becomes 1, 2, 4, 5. Thus leaving a gap. Is there a function one can use to rebuild the rowid numbering to become 1,2,3,4?

Best regards,

Hello,

Is it possible to run to two different applications on one 'Computer Server'. I have my Hospital Management Software already running on the 'Computer Server' now I want to install a different application (Pharmacy Software) on that same server.

Is this ok?

Thanks.

Hello,

I'm in the verge of implementing C/S for a client for the first time. Rolf has been gracious enough to put me through what I need to do. I'm trying the remote access with just one system, but I'm having error -18 - 'Error sending or receiving message'.

It connects without error, but when I try to use the software (open a form) I get error -18. I also tried the remote access in my other application, same error.

Any idea this is coming from?

Best regards,

Hello,

Is there any one using SQLitening with MLG? I am thinking of changing from Listview to MLG. I don't even know if I should.

Wonder what advantage(s) MLG has over Listview.

I would appreciate your contributions.

Kind regards,

Hello,

I have been using yyyy-MM-dd format to store date in SQLite DB. I know its the preferred format. Now, some of my clients said they 'd rather have it in dd-MM-yyyy format (we are used to dd-MM-yyyy date format in this part of my world).

My question is that, it is ok to store date in dd-MM-yyyy format in SQLite DB without having records retrieval problems based on date?

Kind regards,

Hello,

I have a weird situation here with different Date Formats/Queries. When I use this query:

slSEL "SELECT * FROM tblCreditSales WHERE InvoiceNo = '" + sInvoiceNo + "' AND Date = '" + sDate + "'"

and my date format is "yyyyMMdd"

My query returns nothing. But when my date format is "yyyy-MM-dd", my query returns ok.

Then again, when my query is:

slSEL "SELECT * FROM tblCashSales WHERE Date BETWEEN " & sFrom & " AND " & sTo & ""

date format is "yyyyMMdd"
