Getting number of rows added to a database

Using SQLite there is a condition 'ON CONFLICT' clause. I understand I can use this clause when I am inserting a group of records into a database. This would allow SQLite to continue to insert records if there is an issue with an SQL statement.

The question I have is ...

How do I get the number of rows that have been added to the database. I know  the  'slGetChangeCount ' routine will give me number of rows that have been changed during an update statement but will it give me the number or rows ADDED to the database.

It is my understanding that the "slGetChangeCount" will return the number of new rows added as well as the number of rows modified.
