I have a need to embed  ACSII Control characters in certain fields in my Sqlite database.    Specifically thoughs characters are:

   Chr$(28)   (File Separator)
   Chr$(29)  (Group Separator)
   Chr$(30)   (Record Separator)
   Chr$(31)   (Unit Separator)

Are there any known problems in doing so?

None.  If you wanted to insert Chr$(0) then you would have to use slExeBind.

Wonderful...

I have some fields that need to be parsed after they are retrieved from the database and I want to use a delimiter that was not typable from the key board so that it would be unlikely the user would be able to type a delimiter character into the field data which could cause problems when I parsed the field.

Thanks Fred you have been most helpful.
